Christy has been an elementary school teacher for over 25 years and she still gets a thrill from helping kids learn new things each day! She is also the daughter of a transgender parent and the mother of a child in the community; She has watched both the struggles and triumphs they have faced. She is excited to help create a space where the triumphs reign supreme and everyone feels valued, safe, and encouraged!
