One page comic with Tyler Harris

Tyler Harris of Echelon7 is a St. Louis based artist that explores acrylic, digital and wire wrapping. He has been in countless exhibitions and showcased his work throughout the city. The art that he produces uses bold, arbitrary colors. His art tackles his views on spirituality and uplifts the image of marginalized groups.

In this workshop we will be making a short one-page comic by working together and exploring the idea of flexibility and letting go. Many times as people and artists we want to be in control of everything, even though art and life are a process. Sometimes you have to let go and go with the flow, moving according to what is thrown at you. During the session you will start an art piece based on a prompt given. You will then make additions to other participating artist work until we have several finished pieces that have the ideas of many different artists per artwork. Essentially all art made will be a culmination of all that were involved within the session at hand.
